Head of the Glass

Head of the Glass

Friday August 18th, 2017
6 pm – 9 pm

Maker House, 987 Wellington St. West

In our fifth instalment of this Ottawa beer educational series, we are excited to focus on Brewing in the 1800's. We will have local archaeologist and heritage specialist Stephen Jarrett in the Brew Donkey space telling us about a dig he did in March Township. He uncovered a brewery from the 1800's and is keen to tell us what the differences are from then to now.

Head of the Glass is a quarterly open forum event where the public gets to ask the burning questions they have about the beer industry.

Our fifth instalment will feature:
- Ashton Brewing Company & North of 7 Distillery
The topic will be:
The Archaeology of Beer Ottawa - Brewing in the 1800's

The event will take place August 18th, 2017, in our office at 987 Wellington St West inside Maker House Co. and will feature beer samples from Ashton Brewing Company, cocktail samples from North of 7 Distillery as well as light snacks. The event will always be free but proceeds from bar donations will benefit non-profit organisations.
