Raising Stanley / Life With Tulia at The Great Canadian Theatre Company

Wednesday July 25th, 2018

It's an exciting week at The Great Canadian Theatre Company as they kick off their touching feature show Raising Stanley / Life With Tulia, beginning this Thursday July 26th (with show times running until August 5th, see dates and show times here.)

Raising Stanley / Life With Tulia describes the journey from puppy to working guide dog for the visually impaired. Inspired by guide dogs, this is a play that aims to show hilarious and heart-warming moments of life with a guide dog. Do you ever wonder, "How was this dog raised?" "What's life like working with a guide dog?" Storyteller, Kim Kilpatrick and visual artist, Karen Bailey, collaborate to bring you on a theatrical journey using storytelling, painting and video. Come for the lovable labs but stay for a new understading of accessibility in the arts.

This accessible production is suitable for both adults and children.  GCTC will have ASL interpretation at performances on Sunday, July 29 at 2:30pm and Friday, August 3 at 7:30pm.

Show Times:
July 26 - August 5
Thurs - Saturday: 7:30pm
