Celebrate Ottawa’s inaugural Right To Food Day on Wednesday, October 5 in Parkdale Park in support of the Parkdale Food Centre
The City of Ottawa officially declares October 5 as Right To Food Day. The Parkdale Food Centre invites you to the inaugural celebration of Right To Food Day in Parkdale Park on Wednesday, October 5 from 5:00pm-9:00pm for a fundraiser concert from living-legend and Juno Award winner Lynn Miles.
In partnership with the Wellington West Business Improvement Area and Ottawa Markets, Parkdale Food Centre programs a night of musical performances from DJ Bagowji, John Ian and The Dusty Drifters with engaging speakers, contests, prizes and delicious food offerings from the Parkdale Food Centre kitchen, NDN Tacos by Howard Adler and Thirteen: A Social Enterprise.

The evening runs alongside Ottawa Markets’ Harvest Night Market from 4:00pm-8:00pm with a lineup of local vendors and fresh fall produce.
