About Bella’s Bistro Italiano
Opened in 1995, Bella's Bistro Italiano was truly the realization of a dream for Chef Raffaela (Bella) Milito. After studying northern Italian cuisine, and working as a chef in some of Ottawa's finer Italian restaurants for over 20 years, Bella decided to embark on a venture with her two brothers.
Bella's Bistro is truly a family affair with brother Alfredo Giannuzzi as Pastry Chef, baking all the bread and desserts in house. Bella's husband Eugenio also plays a role in the kitchen as Pasta Chef personally hand rolling & cutting all the homemade pasta. Bella's brother Mario Giannuzzi serves as General Manager of the restaurant. In addition the front of the house is staffed with other family members serving Bella's creation with care & pride.
Bella's attention to detail, innovative sauces and strong conviction on making everything in-house has made the restaurant a standout in Ottawa since it's inception.
