Most importantly, we understand that the saying "no pain, no gain" does not apply to joints! If there is joint pain during or after exercise, then you are either doing the exercise incorrectly (sometimes very minor tweaks in form make all the difference), doing the wrong exercise for you, or doing an exercise that is too advanced for the moment.
