About Metta Movement and Meditation Studio

We offer a selection of dynamic movement classes to support healthy, flexible, adaptable and resilient bodies. We also offer secular mindfulness meditation classes to support sane minds. We believe mental and physical health are best achieved in the company of others and, ideally, in a nourishing environment that encourages us to live a balanced, friendly and healthy life. We understand that knowing the nature of our minds is as important as keeping our bodies fit and healthy. This is why we focus on both. It just makes sense. After a class of crawling, jumping, rolling, swinging and catching, you can come back the next day and learn how to include meditation in your life. Our boutique indoor studio is 820 square feet and has a soft floor for landing safely in bare feet. It is built with natural materials and has minimal traditional fitness equipment so there's ample space for free movement and creative circuit training. We have a number of props including ropes, monkey bars, hula hoops, balls of all sizes, bamboo poles and wood and fabric boxes to crawl over for our dynamic classes. We also have meditation cushions, blankets, blocks and straps for our Restorative and Meditation classes. Our outdoor barefoot courtyard is almost 3000 square feet and is developing into a playground for wild movement and fitness. We have change rooms, showers and our cozy friends at Jamari Espresso House will make you something warm to relax before or after class.
