About Parkdale Market
Established in July of 1924 Hintonburg's
Parkdale Market is a local public farmer's market located west of Ottawa’s downtown core, just North of Wellington Street West along Parkdale Avenue.



A four-season public market
Parkdale Market hosts over 20 vendors featuring different products throughout the year:
- Spring: Flowers, shrubs, and bedding plants. Seasonal produce.
- Summer: Farm-fresh local produce, flowers, plants, maple syrup and specialty products.
- Fall: fresh Halloween pumpkins, hanging plants.
- December: Christmas trees, wreaths, firewood.
Community asset
Located in the thriving Hintonburg neighbourhood, Parkdale Market and the adjacent Parkdale Park are an important hub for civic and social life in Hintonburg. The park also forms the heart of Ottawa's
Wellington West shopping, food, and arts district.
Since January 2018, Parkdale Market has been managed by the not-for-profit
Ottawa Markets municipal corporation that also manages the Byward Market.
