Linda Meek, Executive Director, is proud to be opening the Wellington West Retirement Community by Signature Retirement Living. Located at 1166 Wellington Street West, in Ottawa, our Retirement Community is adjacent to the historical Parkdale Market; which has brought this community together for almost a hundred years. With eclectic shops and boutiques at your doorstep and the beautiful Ottawa River Parkway only minutes away, Wellington West Retirement Community is the destination for retirement living in Hintonburg.   The community will be 9-stories with 2 floors of underground parking. The building offers 111 units comprised of spacious Studios, Alcoves, 1 Bedrooms, 1 Bedroom & Dens and 2 Bedroom Independent Living suites as well as an entire floor dedicated to assisted living for residents who require more personal care.   Entering on the ground floor takes you into our main welcome lounge, library and theatre/chapel, to be used for a variety of programs; from movie nights & spiritual gatherings to lectures & travelogue sessions--sure to keep our residents engaged. Our in-house ClubFit program is supported by a saltwater swimming pool along with a large fitness and stretching alcove; all designed to keep our residents healthy and active. For those with a discerning palette, our culinary experience is second to none. Join us in our dining room to enjoy freshly prepared dishes created by our Red Seal Chef.
