We think the great vibe is from our community of happy students and teachers sharing the joy of playing and teaching music!

Alcorn Music Studios is dedicated to bringing the best in contemporary music education to students of every age. AMS opened in 2006 and is owned and operated by professional musicians. Our dedicated instructors have been teaching online since March 2020 and they provide a fun,  friendly, and professional approach for private instruction. 

Currently on hold until we reopen:

We enhance our students’ music experience by offering performance opportunities throughout the year. We offer separate events for young students, teen and adult jam bands, and our adult students.

Our group courses include the Ukulele Social Hour,  Student and Adult Jam Bands, Jazz Jam Workshops and more.  During the summer months we offer a variety of music camps.

​

We welcome and encourage the Ottawa community to participate in our music workshops, group courses and enjoy concerts in GigSpace Performance Studio

We have a great team of fun, vibrant, motivated, creative, enthusiastic and well educated musicians who love what they do!
