A Hintonburg Histories Evening
A Hintonburg Histories Evening
Monday, Nov 18 7:30 – 9:00 at the Hintonburg Community Centre.
The event will feature the following:
- A presentation on “Early Days Hintonburg: The Development of a Streetcar Suburb to a Character-rich Neighbourhood” by Dave Allston, creator of The Kitchssippi Museum.
- A display of “Archaeological Fragments from a Typical Hintonburg House (1880-1959)” by Judith Parker, a local art historian
- A demo of the new Hintonburg Histories History Pin, by Jeanne Inch, Chair HCA History and Heritage Committee.
The event is being organized by the History and Heritage Committee of the Hintonburg Community Association.
