TASTE Cooking demo: Paula Roy’s pizza-stuffed zucchini boats
Local recipe developer, food writer and TV personality Paula Roy presents a short cooking demo that offers a fun twist on almost every family’s favourite food: pizza! She shows how to hollow out zucchini halves then stuff them with a sautéed mixture composed of favourite pizza toppings and sauce. Sprinkle with mozzarella or your favourite non-dairy cheese then bake until pizza perfection is achieved. This flexible, gluten-free dish is fun for the whole family to make and eat. Paula used mini pepperettes and mozzarella from Hintonburg Market, pizza sauce from Tennessy Willems and produce from the Parkdale Market to prepare this tasty meal.
