FIND Summer’s Favourite Bike
Summer Baird has fond childhood memories of sneaking peeks at her grandfather’s antique motorcycle whenever she visited her grandparents’ home. She also loved it when Papa Fred would push her around on the Whizzer in their backyard.
The gleaming red beauty enjoys a custom-made perch in The Hintonburg Public House, sharing the space with other memorabilia. Another of Summer’s cherished childhood treasures to be found at the HPH is a paint-splattered harvest table which was her beloved workbench growing up. For Summer, it conjures up fond memories of innumerable art projects, and speaks volumes about the artistic spirit that pervades the Hintonburg Public House.
In addition to an ever-changing collection of thoughtfully-curated pieces on the walls, the artistic elements extend to the food and drink as well. Cleverly composed dishes, plated with flair, are accompanied by similarly inspired beverage offerings. Just as in her grandparents’ kitchen, everything you’ll find on the HPH menu is scrumptious and made from scratch with passion and care.
But wait…..there’s more! The feast for all the senses at the HPH includes live music, art classes, craft workshops, colouring nights and whatever else Summer and her team happen to dream up. It’s a place that makes it easy to revel in your own whimsical childhood memories as you soak up the HPH’s vintage vibe.
