Mark and his team at LeSuq are now open and ready to serve you at Hintonburg Place, at the corner of Parkdale Avenue and Wellington Street West.
LeSuq is a Levantine grocery and cafe.
Levantine cuisine is the traditional cuisine of the Levant, known in Arabic as the Bilad al-Sham and Mashriq, which covers a large area of the Eastern Mediterranean. The most distinctive aspect of Levantine cuisine is meze including tabbouleh and hummus.
They tell us that their unique name is taken from the word souq (traditional form of marketplace in the middle east). LeSuq brings the flavour and energy of the marketplace to Wellington West as well as two other locations in Ottawa!
