About the market
For 95 years, Parkdale has been a vibrant, local market in Hintonburg. Offering seasonal produce, a playground, regular events and located close to the shops and restaurants of Wellington West. Housing 20 vendors, Parkdale Market offers an abundance of fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as flowers, plants and shrubs.
Parkdale Market, along with the ByWard Market, is operated by Marchés d’Ottawa Markets, a not-for-profit, municipal services corporation. Making Parkdale and ByWard the only publicly owned markets in Ottawa.
Hours of operation
Parkdale Market is open seven days a week from May until November. The vendors are typically on site between 9am and 5pm. If the weather is nice, dawn till dusk, would be fairly safe rule to follow. Vendors change regularly, and different products come in with the changing season, so it’s always worth paying a visit to see what’s new.
