Call for nominations – TASTE of Wellington West Awards
The categories for the first-ever TASTE of Wellington West Awards have been chosen by the community.
Now we need you to nominate your favourite Wellington West merchants for the first annual TASTE of Wellington West Awards.
Click on each category to go to the Facebook post and tag your nominee in the comments. One person who nominates an eligible merchant will be randomly selected from each category to win a $25 gift card to the merchant they nominated. Nominations will close and winners chosen on Friday, August 28 at 10 am.
Best Sweet Treat: whether it’s a post-meal dessert or a snack on the go, tell us your favourite spots to satisfy your sweet tooth
Best Specialty Drink: when it’s more than just quenching your thirst, tell us where you go to enjoy that special drink (hot or cold, alcohol or not)
Best Sandwich: they’ve come so far since we brought them to school in our lunchboxes. Paninis, wraps, open-faced and so many other options. Tell us your favourite places for the (mostly) hand-held delicacy.
Best Veggie: vegetables are healthy, but they can be delicious too. So many to choose from and so many ways to serve them on the side or as an entree themselves. Tell us where you go to get the best veggies.
