WWBIA Introduces Special Incentive Offers for TASTE Registrants

Restauranteurs and chefs: Register for TASTE before August 23 at 5:00pm to receive additional marketing support!

TASTE is Hintonburg and Wellington Village’s biggest attraction every year. The annual one-day food festival celebrates all things delicious and fun in and around Wellington West and samples from our member merchants are the big draw. We’ve extended the deadline to register for TASTE to Tuesday, August 23 at 5:00pm. All food sample venues who register by the deadline will receive additional promotional support, along with the established marketing opportunities offered by WWBIA! Take a glance at these trending, innovative ways to boast what your business does best while raising funds for our permeant charity partner, the Parkdale Food Centre.

All restaurants and merchants who register to offer food samples during TASTE September 24 will benefit from the following:

  • An appearance in TWO influencer videos: Every registered sample provider will be mentioned in at least two of the ten TASTE promotional videos we’re producing with local foodie and Rogers TV host Paula Roy, including:
    • One host mention in a Paula Roy TASTE Sample Preview videos
    • One group ad (text mention) in a Paula Roy TASTE Season feature video

  • One featured social media post: We will highlight your sample menu before TASTE in one post on the BIA social media channel of your choice (Instagram default), with an extra…
  • $50 Digital Ad Boost for your sample post

  • Inclusion on TASTE press release and launch materials: At our TASTE launch event on August 31—a special Parkdale Food Centre fundraising concert with Hintonburg’s own Juno Award winner Lynn Miles—your name will appear on posters and a printed press release

  • Draw for three $100 Gift Certificates: Enter yourself or use giftcards as an incentive for staff working on TASTE day

  • Special help for new or struggling businesses: If all this seems overwhelming or you are worried about food costs and/or staffing shortages, please reach out to the BIA team. We understand that these have been tough times, and there are a number of ways we can help!
