As the new Operations Manager for the Wellington West BIA, Shannon Campbell is excited to bring her passion for local business to her favourite neighbourhoods in Ottawa. Shannon spent much of her childhood exploring the Hintonburg and Wellington Village areas with her family and friends. SuzyQ Doughnuts
Cinnamon Toast Crunch doughnut? Don’t mind if I do. I also love their vegan options! Half of my family is vegan, so this place is one of our favourite stops where everyone can enjoy a snack.
Il Negozio Nicastro
ThiMy family has a tradition of eating raclette, a traditional French dish of melted cheese on potatoes, every Christmas eve. It requires a very specific kind of cheese that’s difficult to get in large quantities. Il Negozio Nicastro is my favourite place to pick up raclette cheese, along with lots of other high-quality imported snacks and goodies.
Mann Lawyers
Diana with Mann Lawyers helped my fiancé and I close on our house. She was super patient with all our questions and walked us through all the really confusing bits. Buying a house can be complicated, but everyone we interacted with at Mann Lawyers made the whole process a lot easier.
St Vincent de Paul
I’ve picked up quite a few treasures at St Vincent de Paul – from a gorgeous mirror for my front hallway to swing-top beer bottles to support my fiancé’s brewing hobby. There are countless goodies in the store, and uncovering hidden gems makes shopping here so much more fun. As someone who’s concerned about their environmental impact, I love how easy terra20 makes it to be green. The ecobar is so much fun – I particularly love going in and refilling my dish soap and glass cleaner bottles.
