Wellington West Francophone songwriter
I’ve been playing music since I was a kid and have recently reconnected with my musical roots and begun writing and performing songs after a long break. I’m mostly a French-language songwriter and singer, and last year released my first solo EP, Fin à la Parodie, under my artist name Sarahlu. I also released an EP in 2016 with my two bandmates, Erin Leigh and Ben Hoskyn, collectively called sébon. I grew up in the French-speaking Quebec South shore of Montreal, lived overseas for 10 years, and then moved to Ottawa 18 years ago. I now live and work in this neighbourhood!

Bruce Eveleigh (pictured right) is a multi-instrumentalist specializing in saxophone and other wind instruments. He enjoys playing jazz and traditional Irish and Scottish music.
Bruce has lived in Hintonburg since 2007, having found here the kind of lively, vibrant community he had been looking for. He is a member of the Hintonburg Community Association and has been a participant in previous ArtsParks.
