WelliWednesdays are BACK! For anyone new to the Wellington West arts scene, WelliWednesdays are a free showcase series featuring Ottawa-based musicians— brought to you by the Friends of Parkdale (Hintonburg Community Association, Ottawa Markets, Kitchissippi Ward, Hintonburg Economic Development Committee, and Wellington West) in collaboration with Wellington West Improvement Area and Wellington West businesses.
Experience talented artists of various ages and musical styles who live, work and play in our neighbourhood. Each WelliWednesday coincides with the Parkdale Night Market, so stop and shop the Night Market before cozying up on a blanket with loved ones to enjoy incredible local talent.

WEDNESDAY, JULY 19 LINEUP
5: 15 PM – ADEOLUWA
“ADEOLUWA is a Nigerian singer/songwriter from Saskatchewan. A genre-bending phenomenon, ADEOLUWA’S music is experimental Afro-fusion because of his influences such as Adekunle Gold, Jonathan McReynolds and ASA. He was among the few artists selected to participate in the SaskMusic Winter Showcase and performed at the 2022 Grey Cup Festival.
His TV special, “The ADEOLUWA Experience,” runs on Sasktel Max and he headlined The Cathedral Village Arts Festival. He performed at the Canada World Youth Conference and The Black Canadians, Africans and Caribbean Professionals Inc.’s Black History Month Celebration. His most recent release, “Stay With Me” has been streamed with great reception since its debut in November 2022.”
7:15 PM – BRUCE WOZNY + BRUCE EVELEIGH
Bruce Wozny is an Ottawa singer-songwriter with a fondness for great songs of any genre. He is a member of the Celtic instrumental band, Rose Trio and a former member of alt-country band Lost Colt. Some of Bruce’s songwriting heroes are Gillian Welch, John Prine, David Frishberg, Roger Miller and Duke Ellington.
Bruce Eveleigh is a saxophonist who enjoys jazz, funk, and traditional Celtic music. He is a member of Rose Trio and a fan of the playing of Michael Brecker and Phil Woods.
