WelliWednesdays are BACK! For anyone new to the Wellington West arts scene, WelliWednesdays are a free showcase series featuring Ottawa-based musicians— brought to you by the Friends of Parkdale (Hintonburg Community Association, Ottawa Markets, Kitchissippi Ward, Hintonburg Economic Development Committee) in collaboration with Wellington West Improvement Area and Wellington West businesses.
Experience talented artists of various ages and musical styles who live, work and play in our neighbourhood. Each WelliWednesday coincides with the Parkdale Night Market, so stop and shop the Night Market before cozying up on a blanket with loved ones to enjoy incredible local talent.

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 28 LINEUP
5: 15 PM – DAVID RANGER
Hintonburg resident, David Ranger (Dr. Anger) is a pianist, guitarist, and songwriter. He will be performing his original music for the first time since emerging from a three-year hibernation. Enjoy some covers to help build a little summer atmosphere.
David has performed in many countries and has accompanied several local artists and is a member of Capital Beatles and is looking forward to performing on the Pat Macleod’s stage.
7:15 PM – RUST PROOF BOTTOM
Mario started playing piano at the age of 7 years old. Music has been a large part of his life ever since. Although the original band is long gone, he kept the name Rust Proof Bottom. His passion is writing songs and hearing others musician adding their magic. He is now the host of the Saturday Night Open Mic Jam at Daniel O-Connell Irish Pub.
He moved to Hintonburg 10 years ago and is proud to say that he works in this community as a trauma and addictions counsellor at a group home in Hintonburg.
