WEDNESDAY, JUNE 7 LINEUP

5:30 PM – DOUG STEWART

Doug Stewart has been playing guitar for over 25 years. As a fourteen year old boy, he was inspired by the music of Jimmy Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan. Later, his style gravitated to the music of John Fogerty, John Mayer and The Black Keys.

Doug has experience playing in several bands and as a solo artist. More recently, he has become his young son’s birthday party entertainment as a singing and guitar playing banana. “Banaman….Bamanaman discount party Banaman. He’ll play a crowd of any size, his only fear is fruit flies. Watch out! Here comes Banaman.”

He believes music to be a communication tool and enjoys teaching adults and children alike. Doug loves to get out and play as much as he can contributing to a few local charities and in his hometown of Deep River, ON.

“I have lived on Parkdale for the last 8 years and absolutely love this area. We have raised our young son in the neighbourhood and have made so many great friends over the years. I played in the park last year and am so excited you would have me back.”
