The Juno-award winning folk singer-songwriter to play free concert in Parkdale Park on August 31 to kickoff Taste Season!

As a culmination to WWBIA’s WelliWOW pop-up arts performance series, we bring you a very special, one-time evening on August 31 in Parkdale Park. This celebratory edition of The Friends of Parkdale Market’s WelliWednesday concerts will be headlined by Juno recipient and six-time Canadian Folk Award winner singer-songwriter (and Hintonburger) Lynn Miles! Brought to you in partnership by The Friends of Parkdale Market, the Wellington West Business Improvement Area and the Ottawa Music Industry Coalition (OMIC), the WelliWOW finale will kick-off Taste Season in support of our local, world-renowned community resource, the Parkdale Food Centre – our permanent charity partner.

Come early to catch OMIC artists Neha Sin at 5:30pm and John Ian at 6:00pm, as well as Parkdale Food Centre’s own Landry Kalembo, before Lynn Miles takes the stage at 7:00pm and take a stroll through the Parkdale Night Market between sets. Admission is free and donations for the Parkdale Food Centre are welcome!
